Willie looks weather beaten today but his songs also have proportionately more emotion in them. Let’s see now, 1965, and from the names on your CC list, that would include ….. Janis, Nancy, and me.I was going to rule out the ladies listening to Willie back then, but ……. My mother was a huge Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings fan …… go figure.When “Good Hearted Woman” came on the stereo she would step on the dog’s tail if necessary to get up and dance. Richard Holstad
